Background Information
While Donald Trump and Thom Tillis narrowly carried the state of North Carolina in 2020, we are incredibly proud of our tireless efforts to flip North Carolina blue. We successfully flipped two US House seats in the state, and Joe Biden received 200,000 more votes statewide than Hillary Clinton in 2016.
In partnership with Progressives for Biden, Seniors for Biden, and the California Democratic Party, the Grassroots Democrats HQ made 462,403 calls and wrote 90,000 postcards to North Carolina voters.

Joe Biden narrowly lost to Donald Trump in North Carolina by a narrow margin of 49.8% to 48.6%, significantly closer than Hillary Clinton’s 3.6% loss in 2016.
Cal Cunningham
Cal Cunningham was the Democratic for the US Senate in North Carolina. He narrowly lost to Republican incumbent Thom Tillis.
